Another presentation by Melissa Ward, though this one is more of a roundtable/problem-solving workshop. It’s a chance for people to sit down with Melissa and pick her brain for information on everything to do with social media. There were about 12 of us sharing ideas and information – overall, a great idea for getting new ideas and helping others solve their social media problems (let’s not forget that the opportunity to give back to others is a great reason to come to these events!).

@Rose Don’t feel too bad; I’m happy to share what she taught. A lot of it was social media stuff you already know, too. I think that as far as participants went, the bloggers were probably the savviest as far as social media. Kinda too bad we didn’t get to do a panel!
Thanks for the mention. SMM presentations are tough – I tend to start at square one and try to figure out where everyone in the room is so I don’t lose anyone. Unfortunately it’s at the risk of boring the ones who know a lot. I want to do a SMM 201 or 301 for the savvy people and help get them to the next level… now THAT would be fun!
@Melissa I would thoroughly enoy seeing you present on a “next level” SMM class – THAT would be awesome! But I think you perfectly pegged 99% of the people in the room. Probably the only ones who knew the stuf already were the bloggers, and since we were there mostly to work, I don’t think that’s a problem (but then, I can only speak for myself, but I didn’t hear any complaints either). I wonder if next year we can bump things up a bit and present the next level.
