I have not left my house in ten days.
I should clarify; I have not stepped foot outside the house in about three days. I haven’t stepped foot off the property in ten days.
When you live in the country, like we do, that can be a Bad Thing.When you can’t see your neighbors unless you get in your car and drive (or walk for ten minutes), that can be a bit…isolating.
If it hadn’t been for our friends D, C, and A who came over for dinner on Sunday night, I would be able to say I haven’t seen a living soul besides the kid and hubs in ten days. Fortunately, I’ve been kept busy with the new business, or this would be a lot worse for my psyche than it’s been. But still. Ten days is a looooong time to not leave the house.
A long time.
